

Thanks to a grant from the NRPA, Billings Skatepark Committee, Billings Parks & Rec and Billings Public Library have partnered to make skateboarding for beginners clinics and camps available to the community this summer! These camps and clinics are being provided at NO CHARGE, however space is limited so be sure to register today. The Skate Park is located at 1st Ave South and South 27th street.
Skateboarding Clinics
Ever wanted to try skateboarding but didn’t know where to start? This clinic is the perfect introduction to this exciting activity in a fun and supportive environment at the Billings Skatepark. We’ll cover the basics of balance, foot placement, pushing, and rolling. You’ll also get an introduction to skateboard setup and safety tips to keep you rolling smoothly. Skateboards and helmets will be provided.
Two hour-long Skateboarding Clinics will be offered on Saturday, June 7th and Saturday, June 14th from 10am-12pm.

Skateboarding Camp
Want to dive deeper into skateboarding? This week-long camp goes beyond the basics, offering hands-on instruction in balance, pushing, turning, skatepark etiquette, and more. As you progress, we’ll explore additional skills like using ramps and learning tricks such as the ollie. In addition to time on the board, participants we’ll explore the culture and creativity of skateboarding. Skateboards and helmets will be provided.
Skateboarding Camp will be offered Monday-Thursday, July 7th-10th and August 4th-7th from 10am-11am

Come join the fun or check out the talent the area has to offer! Three skateboarding competitions will be held this summer on June 22, July 13, and August 10. Registration and warm-ups begin at 3 p.m. Competition for 14 U starts at 4 PM. The 15+ comp begins at 5 PM. Don’t miss these great summer opportunities!
A demo day is planned for late August. A concert, raffles to support the Billings Skatepark Committee’s efforts to increase safety in the area, and of course pro skaters will round out the summer. Don’t miss this family friendly activity. Check back for date and time.
