Billings Parks and Recreation provides a variety of Youth Sports Camps throughout the summer that will focus on an introduction to each sport, instruction, with an emphasis on learning and having fun!
Youth Sports Camps include: Junior Golf Lessons, Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball, Cheer & Dance, Martial Arts, Flag Football, Pickleball, and Racquet Sports. Each camp is open to boys and girls and may be split into two different sessions regarding dates or ages.
Most camps run Monday-Thursday with the exception of Golf Lessons and Martial Arts Camp.
Campers should bring a water bottle, sunscreen, good shoes, and a hat each day. Campers must be signed in and out daily by their Parent/Guardian.
Campers will serve, slam and paddle their way through the world of Racquet Sports. An introduction to Tennis and Pickleball will be taught with an emphasis on fundaments, game play, and the importance of lifetime sports.
Specialized instruction provides participants the opportunity to improve their golf swing, chips, putts, and overall play on the course. Golf clubs are available for use throughout each session.
This camp will get campers to focus on basic introductory skill development to advance their skills and knowledge of the game of Basketball.
Focusing on basic introductory skill development and technique refinement this camp will have soccer athletes passing, scoring, and blocking. This camp will provide a great experience and leave participants enthusiastic about the sport!
Our coaches will work with participants to increase understanding and basic introductory skill development. This camp will increase confidence in their skills; passing, setting, hitting and blocking, while enabling more refinement and development.
Designed for those with spirit, enthusiasm and energy for leading a crowd. Campers will work all week developing a cheer routine to perform for their parents or guardians at the end.
This program is an introduction to the marital art discipline Tae Kwon Do. Students will learn basic blocks, strikes and kicks, along with ideas for awareness ad safety.
This camp will get campers involved and active introducing them them to the concepts of football without the contact.
